Nina Campbell’s collection of printed and embroidered fabrics takes inspiration from 17th and 18th century French vogue for textile designs, originally produced in East India and traded via the Compagnie des Indies. Designs include Baville, a mid-scale composition of Indian flowers and Bonnelles, an all over pattern of artisanal leaf motifs block printed onto linen. Elsewhere, Colbert presents stylised leaf formations while Garance sees star-shaped flowers set in roundels printed on a dotted background.
Nina’s iconic palette of blues, aquas and corals is complemented by the addition of new colour combinations, where pairings include black and emerald, red and teal, and aqua, taupe and ochre.
