Measuring The Width
Already have a pole?
If your curtain pole is already in place we need the width of the pole excluding the end finials.
No pole?
Measure the width of the window reveal and then add to this how far you would like your curtains to run past each side of the window reveal.
MEASURING THE LENGTH (DROP)
What length of curtain suits your window?
Decide where you want your curtains to finish. Do you want them to fall to the sill, below the sill or to the floor?
Finish at sill
Measure from the top of the track to the window sill.
Finish past sill
Measure from the top of the pole to your required length
past the sill. If you have a radiator below the window your
curtains should finish approximately 3cm above this.
Finish at floor
Measure from the top of the pole to approximately 1cm from
the floor. You may want your curtains to drape on the floor in
which case measure to the floor then add to this how far you
would like your curtains to drape on the floor.
